They started their day on the west side and found the lovely Miss Kala. RH76 was alone hiding between the rocks. They stayed with her for about an hour and then left the area for the day.
Heading over to the outfall area they initially didn't see anything. After about an hour they noticed an adult seal with lots of green entering the outfall. The adult unknown was foraging alone.
Since they weren't having any luck finding seals at other spots they headed to paradise cove. They had
gotten word there were two seals. By the time they could find parking one of the seals had left the area.

Miss Aukai RL12 was still there looking quite large. She is about 85% done molting. They noted she kind of looks like a ninja turtle. Signs and ropes were up and a volunteer on site.
I'm sure everyone has heard the news we lost another seal on Oahu. Losing one is difficult but we have lost five in a very short time. Our beloved RL70, RH32, RT68, RV36 and RU02. There aren't words to express how so many feel.
