3/9/2016 DB's Dailies: RG32@Rabbit Island, Kekoa@Maili Point, Pohaku@Secrets, Kimo Kai & RK36 at Nanakai, Team Billand

It would be 1044 before I finally found somebody on Rabbit Island. My first look was a bust, as was the 2nd until RG32 came out of the high grass at 3BS. He was the only resident of RI today. My photos are a total waste of pixels, so I will spare you. Both Gayle & I made passes through the quadrant and found nobody else.

At 0809 the Billands advised that Warren had reported Pohaku (RO28) at Secrets.

At 0915 Team Billand reported Kekoa (RK72) at Maili Point.

RK36 & Kimo Kai (RT12) arrived at Nanakai Beach, Maili, at 0835. Both would depart at 0904.

At 0941 the Billands reported a foraging animal off shore of Maili Point. They would confirm the Kimo Kai ID at 1037. He would haul out to join Kekoa at 1111.

The Billands got a call from Paul at 1547, at White Plains advising of the arrival of an animal between the showers and the Snack Bar. A 2nd call at 1557 advised that the animal had returned to the water and departed.

At 1056 RK36 would haul out to Maili Guard Rails. He would depart at 1337.

A Dana call at 1834 advised that Benny (RE74) had just hauled out to Germaine’s Luau Grounds, Campbell Industrial Park. He’d been MIA for a few days now, so it’s good to know that he is still in the neighborhood, but showing up for the evening luau isn’t the ideal situation. Hopefully, the turn out will be down due to the howling winds.
