6/11/2015 DB's Dailies: Cass & Kaiwi @ RI, RL42 @ Makua Cliffs, Kimo Kai @ Guard Rails, Benny @ Paradise Cove, R5AY @ Hauula, Ola & Kaikaina @ Turtle Bay

Marilyn, Gayle & I all did passes through the SE quadrant through the day. Marilyn got a millisecond glimpse of an animal at Spitting Cave that rounded the point at 0830, headed east but no ID was possible.

 At 1044 I found Cass (RG06) hauling out to the left end rock flats of Rabbit Island. She would remain there all day.

 At 1138 I found what would prove to be Kaiwi (RK96) to mid Middle Cliff on RI. I couldn’t confirm the ID until I looked at my shots at 1500.

 At 0906 Team Billand reported RL42 at Makua Cliffs.

 At 1007 they found Kimo Kai (RT12) just hauling out to Maili Guard Rails.

 The Billands got a call from volunteer Nancy Greer at 1015 advising that Benny (RE74) was at Paradise Cove. He would depart at 1043, and the Billands found him cruising at Secrets. He would ultimately return to Paradise Cove, and haul out at 1111. Thank you Nancy & Chrissy !

 A DanaTxt at 1100 advised that Don Porter was with R5AY in Hauula. He reported that R5AY was approximately “1/5th” molted. Awaiting photos. This would be day #59 since she weaned Ola, so she would be right on schedule.

 A Gina Walker text at 1612 advised that Ola (RG03) & older sister Kaikaina (RL54) were at Turtle Bay today.
