Diane Gabriel’s Ua Malie shots from last night raised the highly probable possibility that a pup might be in our immediate future. She was absolutely correct. Karen Turner found Ua Malie & PO3 Turtle Bay, at 0645. Thanks to Dana for the call. Ua was born at this exact spot, on 6-29-10 just 2 days short of her 5th birthday, she has now become a Mom herself. For all you new guys, congratulations on another TB birth. For all those Great Aunties & Uncles who probably feel , as I do, that it seems like just day before yesterday that Ua Malie was born yesterday, congrats on grandparenthood !!!

 At 0817 I found Aukai (RL12), & Kea (RN46) moving down to the left side water line on Rabbit Island. They would enter the water at 0936. I would not see Aukai again, but Kea would haul out to the left flats at 1208.

 On a pan at 0905 I found Cass (RG06) hauled out to the left flats. She too later enter the water, and haul out to join Kea on the flats at 1238.

 At 1159 Gayle called with the report of Kolohe (RW22) at Buster Flats, Lanai Lookout.

 At 0855 Team Billand reported Kimo Kai (RT12) at Maili Guard Rails. He was gone on their 1200 recheck.

 At 1055 they would report RL42 at Makua Cliffs.

 Marilyn, Lesley & Sam were at The End of the World today. At 1021 Marilyn reported Ka’ena (RO40) at the runway, and Squinty (R330) at BG’s Pool. On they way out she noted that Squinty was now at Ka’ena’s Pool, while Ka’ena had relocated to BG’s Pool, and just beyond that they found Luana (RN58).

 I had no official word, but I’m told that RI37 was once again at 3 Tables today.
