6/8/2015 DB's Dailies: Cass,Kea,Aukai&Kainoa@RI, Ka'ena (without hook)@KP, Benny@Ranches, Pohaku&PK3@Kauai

The Highlight news of the day began with a call from a “reliable source”, reporting the arrival of Ka’ena (RO40) to the runway at Ka’ena Point, with no hook visible. Volunteer/Posse member Tammy T., provided confirming photos of Ka’ena, and sure enough he has gotten rid of the hook on his own, after a very long 11 days.

There was yet another highlight to this day. NOAA personnel went to Rabbit Island , and provided our little girl (Whew !!!) Weaner with her new bling. Cass is now officially RG06/07. While there Angie also got an N88, girdle bleach on Kainoa (RN04).

In addition to Cass & Kainoa on RI, Kea (RN46) was once again out on the left end rock flats, and Aukai was on the water front rocks fronting 1BS.

Team Billand checked in at 1343 with the report of Benny (RE74) at Ranches, on the west side.

At 1658 Karen Turtle advised that Ola (RG03) was at Turtle Bay today. Karen Turtle must be a new volunteer... Tuesdays' with Ms. Turtle at Turtle Bay.... ( sorry Ms. Turner I couldn't resist)

Evening email from our pal Val, brought the latest Pohaku (RO28)&PK3 shots from Kauai. Thank you Val !
