6/14/2015 DB's Dailies: Cass&Kolohe@RI, Nihoa@Maipalaoa, Kekoa@Maili Point, Squinty@KP, Ola,Kaikaina&La'akea@TB

Like the guy said, it was “Deja Vu all over again”. In my world , today looked just like yesterday. Marilyn, Melanie & I found nobody in the SE quadrant except the Rabbit Island cast. Once again I found Cass (RG06) out on the left rock flats, at 0849, and at 1027 Kolohe (RW22) hauled out , 40 ft left of 1BS on RI. Both remained at those locations through the observation period.

Team Billand checked in at 0723 with the report of Nihoa (R912) in the Maipalaoa Canal. She would later move toward the mouth of the canal, and haul out to the mouth of the canal, on the Honolulu side.

At 0856 the Billands found Kekoa (RK72) at Maili Point.

Ken Tingman checked in with the report of R330 (Squinty) outside the Main Pool , Ka’ena Point at 1138.

Diane Terai checked in at 1711 with the report of La’akea (RK82) at Right Spot’s Spot, and Ola (RG03) & Kaikaina (RL54) at the birth beach, Turtle Bahy. She also reported being chased by a wild pig ! La’akea departed at 1845. Thank you Diane ! Late email from Diane stated the wild pig chase did not happen this afternoon..... that's not to say there has never been a wild pig in the area.... running after her.... some time ago :-)
