11/13/2014 DB's Dailies: Kea @ SB, Kolohe,Kainoa&U/M@RI, Buster@BF, Kaiwi@TBL, Benny@KP&KR, Haupu@WP. Pohaku@CIP

Kea was gone on my 0615 arrival to Sandy Beach. At 0717 posse member Barbara V called to advise that Kea was hauling out to the outfall. At 0718 I arrived and confirmed the Kea (RN46) ID and redid the SPZ. He has remained all day. Kea remains at dark.

On my first look at Rabbit Island I found what would prove to be Kainoa (RN04) in the Morning Glory, 40 ft left of 1BS. He would later move to the water line on the left end of the beach, where he remained.

On my 2nd look at RI, I found Kolohe (RW22) on the water front rocks at Rocky Right Beach. He remained all day. At 1048 an U/M, adult sized, with at least 1 red tag, and an old coat, hauled out to join Kainoa at the left end of RI. I was unable to ever confirm an ID. Maybe tomorrow ???

At 1135 Ocean Safety called to advise that an animal had been reported hauling out at Lanai Lookout. When I got there at 1235 I confirmed the Buster (RV08) ID, on Buster Flats, Lanai Lookout.

At 1322 I found Kaiwi (RK96) at Toilet Bowl, Hanauma Bay.

Gary Langley sent shots of Rocky's girl RF58) on Kauai.

Team Billand checked in at 0634 with the report of Benny (RE74) at #1708, White Plains. He would depart at 0844. They would find him again at 1404, this time at Kermit’s Reef, Nimitz Cove.

At 1238 White Plains life guards reported an animal arriving. At 1333 the Billands confirmed the Haupu (RB24) ID.

At 1348 the Billands found Pohaku (RO28) at Germaine’s Luau Grounds, Campbell Industrial Park.
