4-28-2014 DB's Dailies: Sadie&Pup,Kainoa&U/F@RI, Kaiwi@CW, R018,Buster,RIP@WP, Pohaku@PC, La'akea&Meli@TB, R5AY@Malaekahana

At 0642 I found Sadie & Pup (RB12)(D#25) doing the first of 3 observed swim sessions. I also observed 3 feeds between water sessions. The kid is gettin’ plump.

At 0957 I became aware of an U/F on the left end rock flats. No ID was ever possible.

She was joined by Kainoa (RN04)(1054) at 1040. I’m happy to report that I saw him using his left fore flipper while climbing the rocks.
At 1307 I found Kaiwi (RK96) at China Walls.

At 0623 Team Billand reported an overnighted R018 at #1708, White Plains.

At 0727 Buster (RV08) hauled out to join him, however it was a brief stay. They had words and Buster immediately departed, only to haul out to the fence line at 0827. R018 would enter the water at 0742.

At 0742 the Billands reported that Terri had called about a possible Pohaku at Paradise Cove. Diane Tekai would confirm the Pohaku (RO28) ID at 1029.

At 0946 the Billands advised they were responding to a Cianna call about an animal at Access 186D, Ewa Beach. When they arrived they found nothing however they did see an U/U foraging near Access 185C. It could be anybody of course, but since T21M had been in that area the last 2 days, he has to be high on the possible list.

Diane Gabriel called at 1103 bring word of La’akea (RK82) and Meli (RF20) together at the elbow, Turtle Bay.

She also advised that she had seen R5AY at 1000 at Malaekahana. Her molt was 100%.

At 1506 Team Billand called with the report of the arrival of RIP (RR70) to #1708, White Plains.
** Side note there was an animal on Moku Nui today... no pictures, no proof, but believed to be Aukai. The KSK folks called it into the hotline and the DLNR folks were on island doing some restoration and cleanup.
