When I arrived at Makai Pier at 0713 I found Sadie&Pup(RB12)(D#5) at the far left end as usual, and Aukai (RL12)&Kainoa (RN04) together up in the Morning Glory, right of 1BS. Both would enter the water at 1126.
At 1149 Gayle called to advise that Kaiwi (RK96) once again at China Walls. Her camera was on the blink, so I checked on Kaiwi a bit later.
At 0926 Diane T checked in with word of Pohaku (RO28) at Paradise Cove.
At 0955 the Billands found Ewa Girl (RS00) at Wind Sock.
At 1145 the Billands reported that RIP (RR70) had hauled out to join Buster at WP, after having words both entered the water. RIP would later return to the #1707 location at 1237.
At 1440 Diane T found Haupu (RB24) between "Al’s Bench & the WP west end perimeter fence.
At 1443 the Billands, responding to a Life Guard call , found RK36 at Makua Beach.
Vera Cober , responding to a "harassment call", reported Rocky (RH58) at Access 185C, Ewa Beach, at 1509.
Also at 1509 the Billands reported Benny (RE74) at Makaha Beach.
At 1546 they found Kerby (RW08) at Maili Point.
A conversation with Tracy today shed some light on the U/F that has been reported of late at Ka’ena Point. Tracy advised that there have in fact been two different U/Fs . The one seen on 2-25&27-14, with the small CC scar on her back has been designated Temp400, and is known to be back on Kauai. The U/F seen on 4-5&7-14 at KP has been designated Temp401, and has little to no usable markers. Until today I thought there was just one animal. Thank you Tracy.
