4-25-2014 DB's Dailies: Sadie&Pup,Kainoa,Duke@RI, Kea@BH, Kaiwi@CW, R018,Buster,RIP,M&M@WP, Kermit@PC, Nihoa@GR

My Rabbit Island day would begin at 0700 with Sadie & Pup (RA12) in the water, Kainoa (RN04) at Left Greenery, and later Duke (RA12) at the right end of the island at Rocky Right Beach. Duke would relocate to the far left end at 1000. I could see by his behavior that he was aware of little sister Sadie&Pup fronting his location. At 1020 Sadie & Pup hauled out, and she made it abundantly clear that Duke should "git", and he got ! I did not see him again today. Sadie &Pup spent the rest of the day eatin’ & snoozin’ .

　

At 1222 I found Kea (RN46) in the cove on the Sandy Beach side of the Blowhole Lookout. He had not been there on previous checks by both myself and Gayle.

　

At 1251 the Canadian posse Darlene & Todd reported Kaiwi (RK96) at China Walls. Christian Young would also report her a bit later. She had not been there on Gayle’s earlier check, at 1224.

　

At 0713 Team Billand reported R018 at #1707, White Plains.

　

At 0800 they advised at Buster (RV08) was just hauling out to join R018 at #1707.

　

At 0910 RIP (RR70) would haul out to join Buster & R018 . The battle ensued. R018 would depart at 0927, only to haul out again fronting #1706. RIP and Buster remained at the 1707 location. RIP departed at 1622.

　

At 1145 M&M arrived to join R018 at #1706.

　

On the Billands 1238 recheck they found RIP & M&M at Tower#2. Buster and R018 were gone.

　

In the Yesterday’s News department, volunteer Angela Baker sent shots of Rocky (RH58) at her Magic Island, trough hangout yesterday. Ya’ Done Good Angela !!

　

Dana called at 1444 to advise that Kermit (R012) had hauled out to Paradise Cove.

　

At 1454 the Billands found Nihoa (R912) at Guard Rails Beach, Maili.

　

The Donna called at 1617 to advise that her kayak posse had reported a small seal at Moku Nui, and a large one swimming. There was also talk of someone having been there yesterday also. Awaiting photos. no photos... :-( 

 Sadie and Pup and this little is growing up fast... Mom is ether playing or teaching the little one a lesson
