11-24-2012 DB's Dailies

At 0650 I found M38 snoozin' at Rocky Right Beach, and Kaiwi (RK96) zonked at Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. Each would move down midday to cool off, but remained at their respective locations all day.

At 0800 Team Billand called at 0800 with the report of Kermit (R012) at Wind Sock.

At 1250 the Billands reported Irma (R010) was with Kermit at WSK. I didn't realize until late in the afternoon that my dumb phone hadn't told me about a 1030 call from Dana reporting an animal with Kermit..... dumb phone!

Dana had Divya Petersom, from Make A Wish, and her family out for a visit to with Kermit & Irma.

Marilyn did her usual Saturday Ka'ena Point trek and reported a KP cast of Ka'ena (RO40), RIP (RR70) and Noa (R6FI) at the end of the world.

Just as yesterday, Ka'ena began the day up by the main sign, and later would do a circuitous galumph down to the back beach, just as he did yesterday, to join RIP . Both would later relocate to the main beach pool. Noa would show up later. He and Ka'ena would do a swim/play session while RIP snoozed. Ka'ena and Noa would return to the rocks, and all snoozed away the day. RIP has begun his molt.

At 1412 Team Billand called with the report of Benny (RE74) and Kerby (RW08) together at Maili Point.

At 1459 they called again with the report of RI37 in the company of 2AW at Electric Beach.

R5AY news continues to be positive. She is catching and eating live fish, and is active around the tank.
