At 0700 I found M38 snoozin' in the Morning Glory, fronting 1BS on Rabbit Island. He would remain at that location all day, only moving up and down with the tides.
Also at 0700 I found Kaiwi (RK96) snoozin' at Seal Rock Inlet, where she has been for the last few days.
At 0803, Aukai (RL12) would haul out to join her. There was light interaction and both settled down to snooze away the rest of the day, only moving as the tide required.
Team Billand reported Kermit (R012) fronting #1707, White Plains at 0920.
They called again at 1412 to report finding Rocky (RH58) at Iroquois Point.
Not much news coming from the Aquarium. R5AY continues her recovery from tongue surgery.
I received email from Sean Guerin (NOAA), updating info on animals that he and Mark Sullivan bleached at Turtle Bay on 11-16-12. RL54, R5AY's weaner daughter how has a N54 bleach. Is it just by chance her bleach number and TAG number are the same? Loving the simplicity.!
They also bleached and unknown, untagged, adult female that day. giving her an N32 bleach. As it turns out she was not quite so unknown. They were able to confirm N32 as the same unknown animal reported by Kimo Smith at Ka'ena Point on 11-8-12. Henchforth she shall be known as Temp 412, at least until she earns some tags.
RL54 bleached N54 won't forget that one... now if the poor girl had a name.... Does anyone remember the old television show car 54 where are you?
Temp412 girl N32

She's looking very healthy... let's hope 5AY gets back to a healthy status soon
