How cool is the new header.... Thank you to Darin for editing the picture to fit in the header and being a fan of the site. The credit for this great pic goes to Lorrin who originally sent this photo to DB and was posted here on May 18th.
I was on the North Shore this afternoon with 5AY and P02. They spent time snoozing, playing in the water and P02 was on a discovery mission today. He was extremely interested in the leaves from this shrub.... there were times when it looked like he was going to pluck a leaf off.
Between 16:00 -19:00 there were 2 small nursing sessions... Malia and I were unable to get detail information because Mom and pup hauled up very close to the treeline.... we could not get a good vantage point and did not want to be visible to them.... They settled in very close to the tree line at the end of the evening when we left.
The Pup had some "crud" on his whisker/lip.... both Malia and I thought it looked organic but it did not come off during a swim or rubbing about in the sand. We first noticed after he had been on shore pushing around some needles from the ironwood trees.... When I reported into David at the end of the night I let him know what the pup was up to. ~donna~
