Here are some of volunteer Karen Bryan's favorite photos of P02 and 5AY. The volunteers are pulling together some of their favorite photos of Mom and Pup..... We're planning on presenting the property owners a small token of our appreciation. I wanted to share what Karen pulled out as her personal favs.
Also just a note, I haven't known Karen for very long but she is a dedicated volunteer. She has attended all available meetings/training and conferences over the last couple of months. But beyond Karen's time with the Monk Seals she is also a student, Mom AND her husband is deployed in Iraq. Above and beyond my sincerest thank you for volunteer efforts I want to thank Karen and her family for their unbelievable sacrifice! Our hearts and prayers are with you. ~donna~

We are honored to have done pup watch and rescue with a great person...Karen Bryan. Every Sunday we talk about seals, went on a seal sighting at Turtle Bay, done the Conferences and the Moc Stranding with her too. She has become our friend and partner. Love the pics of R5AY and PO2. Seal ya Sunday Karen.
It is truly an honor to be a part of such a fantastic group. The majority of the volunteers have welcomed me into the family which has been greatly appreciated during this difficult time. We all share a love for the monk seals, and we must remember to focus our attention on the preservation of the species. Donna, thank you for all you do for the group, but most importantly for the seals. Also, DB, the Billands, Patie, Tracy, Brenda, and many more of you who I don't know personally...your dedication is an inspiration to us all. Thanks! Karen Bryan
