Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:42 to 3:13 pm and there were five seals seen during that time.
There were three seals when Marilyn first started viewing.
About midway between 3BS and SRI were two seals:
Adult Female: robust adult size, light gray female belly, two red tags and lower neck scars.
Initially alone near SRI was a Weaner Female: weaner to juvenile size, yellow female belly and two red tags.
At 1:58 pm an Unknown Weaner joined the Female Weaner: weaner to juvenile size, light probably male belly and two red tags. The W/F and W/U stayed near each other during the rest of Marilyn's viewing session.
At about 2:20 pm, Marilyn saw a monk seal in the shallows near the A/F and A/M. At 2:21 pm, the sub-adult female hauled out between 3BS and where the two adult seals were. The Sub-adult Female was sub-adult size, medium gray female belly and two red tags. At 2:45 pm, the A/M left the A/F and hauled out to the S/F and stayed near her until Marilyn left.
Team R&B first stop at pokai they were happy to find two seals resting peacefully. There was RH76 Kala and RM31 Kai. They were still there in the afternoon but had moved to the zen pond. Kala was snoozing on her back and Kai was on his side.
Over at rest camp they spotted the two "lovers" R3CX Nalu and RH48Lei Ola. They foraging further out today. It was a little difficult to keep track but they managed to get a few pics of them. They also spotted the Iwa Bird flying by.
Team R&B spotted two seals on shore at tracks from afar. They were having a spat, one was large with lots of green and no tags. The other had bright red tags, smaller in side and seemed to have some kind of applied bleach number on its left side. They both took off after fighting for a bit and getting hit by the surf. They are being reported as Unknowns.
Next they decided to head over to plains. They found KG89 Huakai resting by the cabins. She is looking very big these days. The lifeguard asked about her, so of course Team R&B gave him her history. Then he asked who the other seal was? They didn't realize there was another. Over by the fence line they found the handsome Makalii R416.
Last stop was at cliffs. They found RL42 Leia who is fully molted. They also realized the U/A from the other day was her. They saw the same scars on her big body.
