Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:58 to 2:31 pm and there was only one seal seen during that time.
Out on RRB was a Juvenile Male: juvenile size, longer and thinner than a weaner, new coat, two red tags and a male belly.
Team R&B first find were two seals foraging at the rest camp side. One was chasing the other, but by the time they made it out there there was only one seal seen. They ID'd R3CX Nalu. One of the surfers saidhe had seen two seals out there and they were moving really fast.
Team R&B got to watch the dolphins and there were lots of them today.
Since it was a slower seal day they went to check on their new friend the boobie. He was out there and had a visitor. At first it seem very sweet but it changed and the guy chased the boobie away. For shame.
They decided to check in at plains. When they arrived they spotted two seals on shore at separate areas. When they made their way out there they only found Lei Ola RH48. She is looking healthy and plump.
Lastly they decided to head back to see if they could find Kala, since they didn't see her this morning. When they arrived there was a group pf people departing from the area. Sure enough there was RH76 Kala very alert looking about. Her molt is coming alone and we can only hope it moves along quickly.
