We also have some sad news as reported on this evenings news. The death of 2-year old RS34 Moana, I will post the link to the news story.
Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:51 to 3:06 pm and there were three seals seen during that time.
On the 1BS side of LPB was a Juvenile Male: juvenile size, older coat, yellow male belly with some green and two red tags.
In the middle cliff area was Weaner Male: weaner size and shape, light yellow male belly and two red tags.
At 1:25 pm Marilyn saw that an Unknown Weaner hauled out on RRB: weaner size shape, light gray belly, unsure of sex and two red tags.
Team R&B's first find was Miss Kala RH76. She was alone at her zen area. She appears to be 50% into her molt. When they did a recheck later in the day she was gone.
Once again they spotted R3CX Nalu foraging by rest camp. He was alone, other than the folks in their kayaks. Team R&B noted there were signs posted for sharks again today.
Team R&B got to enjoy the dolphins out and about. They also got to see their booby friend along with an Iwa bird flying overhead.
Their last find was at Kahe. They has been in the area but never saw the seal. As they walked farther out they spotted a seal they ID'd as RG28 Lefty. He was snoozing in the pond with little fishes swimming about him.
They saw another seal by the outfall area but it never came back around, so no ID or a decent shot.
