September 13, 2025 Saturday's Dailies

Today's dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:18 to 2:18 pm and there were four seals seen during that time.
Out on the rock flats on the Lanikai side of LPB was a recent weaner labeled as RU48 (could be RU64): recent weaner size, shape and coloration, two red tags and male belly.
Out on RRB there were three seals:
Juvenile Female: juvenile or weaner size,  older coat with tannish-yellow female belly and two red tags.
A male weaner labeled as RU24: older weaner size, light male belly and two red tags.
Unknown Juvenile: juvenile size, older coat with some green, not sure about tags or sex. The UJ moved behind RU24 and was difficult to see.

Team R&B had a very busy day in that they had both their grandkids with them today. Miss junior sealette is growing up fast and knows what being out on the search for seals entails.
They beaches were crowded today, as usual especially on a weekend.
Their first stop they found Miss Kala RH76 resting below. The waves were coming in covering her at times so she moved up. Team R&B noted that she'll probably molt soon.
They saw R3CX Nalu foraging in the water. There were so many people in the water he moved out to the jetty.

While watching Nalu foraging they saw a seal swim by very quickly so they headed out over to Kahe. They were able to see Kaale RH32 trying to find a spot to haul out. But today the waves were covering the area so he kept going and they didn't see him again.
