To quote Barbara "We been all over the cats butt, and we only found one seal." This made me laugh, and I knew what she meant. Team Billand's only find today and it's an important one for obvious reasons was Lei Ola RH48. After lunch they did a recheck and found her way up on the rock snoozing. They did a bit of outreach and confirmed she still has the hook. They left as it started to rain. She is still moving fine, no sign of distress, so for the time being she is doing good.
Gayle spotted three critters on Rabbit Island today, included photos aren't so great. She also spent time with Right Spot today, but did get some relief from volunteer Jim & Mike. Gayle went back late afternoon and hung out with Jim who did two shifts.

OH... I almost forgot!!! In yesterdays' news department an email from kayaker Sharon D. brought news of NANI RK60 lounging at Chinaman's Hat. Sharon called NOAA (I assume the hotline) and reported her K61 tag. She was there for some time until the tide came in and rolled over her several times, and she galumphed back into the ocean. THANK YOU Sharon, so appreciate your taking the time and sharing your photos.
Late email from Lesley brought news of BG R303 at Camp Erdman, looking beautiful with her new coat.
