10/23/2017 Monk Seal Dailies: Under Stormy Skies

Todays' dailies are brought to you by mother nature, well sort of.  Since today was such a stormy day on Oahu most folks that were out there came back empty handed.

Team Billand did their usual checks and spotted no seals. Out at White Plans the sky looked pretty at day break. Since there were no seals Barb put her camera to good use spotting a cardinal, and a fancolin, clear skies at day break to stormy skies.

Word from Ka'ena Point - no critters.  Hmmmm wonder where out posse pal Gayle has been? No word on Right Spot or Rabbit Island.

In yesterday's news (actually Saturday news) a friend of mine from Kailua Beach Adventure posted a photo on facebook of a youngen and adult on Moku Nui.  The youngster was ID as RJ30 Wailea born on Moku Nui this summer. The adult unknown, but very large.

Hopefully tomorrow we will have lots of critters to report.
