Team Billand had an awesome day starting with finding Ka'ale RH32 100% molted. He was on the rocks snoozing. As a bonus Barb got to see dolphins doing what they do best without any tour boats around. To add to Barbara amazing day she found Kekoa Alii, (one of Ewa Girls boyz) back at Maili, having a great snooze in peace and quiet. He was there alone without a soul around.
Mrs. Whisperer stopped by Kaimana Beach on her way to work after hearing on the news a fishing boat was grounded on the reef and that a seal was on the beach. Lo and behold there was ROCKY (RH58) snoozing soundly right next to the lifeguard stand. She was ID'd by her newly molted coat, female belly and natural white bleach on her front flipper. She is looking very healthy and had put on substantial weight since weaning Kaimana. The fishing boat, Pacific Paradise... totally grounded on the reef.
Speaking of molting Gayle reported Right Spot (R016) has begun her molt. She had Buster keeping her company all day and he was a real gentleman by not pestering her. However, at the end of the day she had some words for him and he took off. Gayle departed at 18:30. (Note: Gayle mentioned yesterday she thought she was starting her molt, so that would make today Day 2). Gayle spotted 3 critters on Rabbit Island.
Our Pal Tammy was out at Ka'ena Point to do a sunset hike with a friend and then ran into another friend Lesley. Lesley pointed out Ka'ena in his pool, he was the only critter along with a beautiful sunset.
