At 0719 I found Sadie(RB12)&PO1(D#22) on the left rock flats, on Rabbit
Island. The did their first water session at 0919, hauling out at 1008 to the
sandy area at the left end of the beach. After a lengthy feed and snooze they
would do another water session from 1107 until 1223. Yet another feed and
snooze was called for.
Tracy confirmed officially this morning that Nani (RK60)&PO2 was found. According to Tracy it appears as though the pup is thought to be about 2-3 weeks old. I’m sure you’ll all be able to get a feel for where they are located, but I am not going to pursuit it as for now. There are amble sights on line with lots of info. I do not want to have a roll in any “management issues”as might be associated with the blog for today.
Team Billand had mentioned that RN14 had been at Paradise Cove but had departed. They were find RN14 again at Kahe Pt, at 1130.
At 0934 the Billands found a foraging animal at Campbell Industrial Park. Barbara was thinking a possible Pohaku, but awaiting photos.
At 1147 Team Billand found Ka’ale (RH32) at Maili.
RIP (RR70) was found by Barbara at the 20MIN mark on the west side KP trail.
At1333 her next find was Ka’ena (RO40) at the 30MIN mark.
