Posse member Christian Young sent shots of Kolohe (RW22) once again today out on the left side flats at Lanai Lookout at 1152. I confirmed Kolohe ID at 1400.
Team Billand reported RIP (RR70)&RL42 at the 20MIN mark on the west side KP trail at 0937.
At 0953 Barbara confirmed Ka'ena (RO40) at the 30MIN mark.
At 1204 Team Billand found RW02 at Makaha, foraging off shore doing 6 minute dives.
Ka'ale (RH32) was found by the Billands at Kahe Pt. at 1313.
A conversation with Tracy today brought word from her concerning births so far this year.
Pup totals to date:
Hawaii - 1 pup (died several days after birth)
Oahu - 1 pup (currently nursing)
Molokai - 8 pups (1 weaned, 5 nursing, 1 neonate carcass found/mom unknown, 1 pup disappeared)

Molokai: RA32, RV06, RT22, RI25, RK48, RK62, RN20
RN20 is the first "N" cohort to pup - another 4-year old mom from Kalaupapa. RN20 was born at Kalaupapa in 2013. We just tagged the first weaned pup last week. Her ID is RJ20. So "J" is the 2017 cohort letter. Still waiting for Kauai to join the pupping game, but Jamie informed me that they may have a bumper crop this year based on the look of their regular moms.
