5/25/2017 DB's Dailies:

My first look at Rabbit Island from Makai Pier, came at 0750. I found nobody visible on the beach. Rough water made difficulty looking at the left end. I was then off to a Vet, appointment for cat duty.

When I got back to Makai Pier at 1000 I found Sadie(RB12)&PO1(D#21), doing a feed on the Left End Rock Flats at Rabbit Island. A snooze was then afterward.

At 1056 they entered the water for a session at the left end, and both hauled out again for another feed and snooze at the left end of the beach on RI.  They were still snoozin’ as I departed as of 1330.

I had heard nothing, but I found an Instagram shot of what appears to be Buster (RV08) at the east end of Sandy Beach at some point today.  I did an afternoon check of the area, but nobody was at SB at 1330. I have no other info.

At 0616 Team Billand advised of RN14 at Paradise Cove. He would depart at 0628.

At 0702 they found RN14 again, this time hauled out to Kahe Point.  He was still there on their 1349 recheck.

At 0907 the Billands found Ka’ale (RH32) at Maili. He was gone on there 1349 recheck.

Tammy & Dave did the trek to the End of the World, via the northern route. At 1006 they confirmed R3CU & RIP (RR70) at the Back Beach, at Ka’ena Point. Both animals departed at 1151.   On their way out they confirmed Luana (RN58) at 10MIN Beach.
