Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:41 to 1:52 pm and only the weaners were on island today.
Weaner RU24 (po3) was snoozing on the rock flats of Middle Cliff. He never gave Marilyn a full view of his male belly, but she is reasonably sure it was him: weaner size, shape and coloration, male belly and two red tags.
Near the waterline between 3BS and SRI was weaner RU38 (po4):weaner size, shape and coloration, female belly and two red tags.
Team R&B arrived at pokai and found big boy RH32 Kaale sleeping alone at the zen area. They notices he has a small cut on his lip, might be from a small hook or maybe a fight. (Only Kaale knows).
They kept watching over the area for other seals. Sure enough they spotted two in the water. One was huge, clean coat and one tag. The seal never landed and they couldn't make an ID.
The other seal had a lot of green on its coat, and no tags. They lost sight of the two and checked on Kaale who was still resting.
Then they saw a seal coming into the area where Kaale was resting. It was the green seal, slowly approaches Kaale. Kaale wasn't having it, he started barking and charged the green seal.
They both took off like torpedoes. They were too fast for Team R&B and they couldn't make the ID on the green seal. They didn't see any markers so they reported it as an Unknown Male.
They spent a lot of time out there today looking for seals. They werehappy to see another seal and thankfully they were able to ID R3CX Nalu. He was moving fast, looking around and then he was gone.
They spotted a seal coming into the zen area and it was RH32 Kaale returning to his spot.
To finish off their day they did spot an eagle ray out in the water.
