Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:17 to 1:58 pm and there were five seals seen during that time.
There were two seals near each other about 20 feet Lanikai Side of the 2BS.
Sub-adult Female: sub-adult size, tannish green female belly, one tag on RRF. This might be R04P who was seen on RI on 6/5/2025.
Next to the SF was an Adult Male: small adult size, older dark coat with some green on his male belly, and two red tags. This might be RM31 Kai, but Marilyn wasn't sure.
Among waterfront rocks in the Middle Cliff area was weaner RU24 (po3) weaner size, shaep and coloration, light male belly and two red tags. Marilyn wondered how seals can sleep in such positions.
Along the waterline between 3BS and SRI was weaner RU38 (po4) weaner size shape and coloration, light female belly and two red tags.
Out on RRB was a Juvenile Female: juvenile size, tan female belly, unsure about tags.
Team R&B braved the crowded beaches again today. They walked for two hours and waited for a seal to show up.
From afar they saw a seal coming in fast. The seal was looking at the seal inlets and finally found a spot to haul up. It was R3CX Nalu. He was alone and spent the day snoozing.
Sadly the only other thing they found was a white tip shark that was deal on the rocks.
