March 13, 2019 (part 2) Lesley's Ka'ena Update

Had a great morning out in the park.

At the point I first came up on RK88 "Puna" sleeping near the Naupaka line of Back Beach. He later slid down the beach towards the water line. He was still there when I left

On Main Beach RG28 "Lefty" was sleeping peacefully on the top new beach. Although his CC bite doesn't look good it's healing nicely. First time I saw him was as a pup with mom RO28 "Pohaku" in Kauai, then as a chubby weanner - happy to see him all grown up visiting this rock again.

There was good outreach and coexistence while I was at the point.  More tomorrow
