1/6/2016 DB's Dailies: Kolohe&Buster@Rabbit Island, RIPMaili Point, Team Billand, Holokai@Turtle Bay, Diane Gabriel

On this nippy & gray day, Kolohe (RW22) had Rabbit Island all to him self, for a while. I found him snoozin’ in the Morning Glory at 0716. At 1310 his quiet day abruptly came to an end with the arrival of Buster (RV08). The interaction was minimal. They had a few words , then both galumphed back into the Morning Glory to crash for the rest of the afternoon. No molt percentage was possible. Buster had the audacity to show me only his back as he snored away the day.

At 1256 Team Billand checked in with the report of RIP (RR70) at Maili Point. He was their only find for the day.

A Diane Gabriel text at 1652 advised that Holokai (RG40) had hauled out to the Keiki Pool 15 minutes earlier.

In the Yesterday’s News department, The Donna, got photos yesterday of 2 animals on Moku Nui. The shots show the same 2 animals that had been there the day before. The larger one is definitely Right Spot (R016), the small is still a mystery. I believe it to be a female, but better angle is required.
Haaaa... I had actually uploaded all of this the other night to post and forgot to put the publish button... oh well yesterday's news is still good news in the seal world.
