1/5/2016 DB's Dailies: RM38, Buster &Kolohe@Rabbit Island, Pohaku@Paradise Cove,

At 0705 I found RM38 snoozin’ at the log, left of 1BS, on Rabbit Island. I also spied a likely looking rock back in the shadows of the cliff, behind the Morning Glory. At 1203 the rock belched, and I knew it was a critter. Finally, at 1337 a 10% molted Buster (RV08) would galumph into view, and move down.

When I got back to the pier at 0825 Kolohe (RW22) had hauled out to the Morning Glory, 40 ft right of 1BS, where he remained all day. He would be joined by RM38 at 1411.

At call from Team Billand at 0626 advised that Nancy Greer had an animal at Paradise Cove. It would be confirmed as Pohaku (RO28). It looked like the usual zoo out there again today. Thanks to Nancy, Warren, Chrissy & Terri !

An afternoon text from the Donna, brought word of 2 animals out at Moku Nui again today. Awaiting photos.

Once again today, one of my Instagram searches brought quite a surprise. It was a underwater shot of little Cass (RG06/07). She is a hard girl to keep track of since weaning. She is Sadie’s Rabbit Island daughter from last year. Good to have a confirmed siting of this little buggah...
