Despite being spoken to (outreach) these folks from Pearl City decided sneaking into the SPZ after Melanie left was okay
Apparently when another volunteer asked them about it, they denied getting close to the seal.... Liar liar pants on fire!!!
on the other hand these two folks were kind and sensible enought to do the right thing

Why are folks going up to the seals like they are lately???
And why dont the AUTHORITIES DO SOMETHING OUT THERE????

FINE THEM!!!! Make them see..ITS NOT ALRIGHT FOR ONE TO GO UP TO A SEAL FOR A CLOSE UP SHOT. YOU GOT THEIR PHOTOS!!! Ban them from going out to site. Do SOMETHING!!!
That is whats wrong here, NO ONE DOES ANYTHING to ANYONE..so the problem continues. THis just sucks!!!
What if they do this to poor lonely Ola Loa, heaven forbid???
She is so vulnerable out there..and who knows what goes on.
I hear there are 200 volunteers out there at the site helping out. 200 volunteers. Thats alot of folks for ONE SEAL..and that is good.
I am upset..as usual...for humans and their selfish ways..JUST FOR A CLOSE UP SHOT. So disrespectful.
Our poor seals, just not safe ANYWHERE on Oahu. People do what ever they want, without any thing ever being done. SO...because NOTHING IS EVER DONE..humans will continue to PLAY WIHT THE SEALS ALLLLLL THEY WANT.
Who ever took those photos, should show them to security out there, wait for these clowns to arrive at the end of journey and ....BOOK EM DANO!!! Just do it. Or YOU WILL NEVER GET SEALS RESPECT, ANY WHERE.
Last week some jerk was right at Ola Loa, great shots , proof he was in the zone, at the poor pup. He GOT AWAY, didnt he..with a big smile and a thought..OH NOTHING GOING TO HAPPEN TO ME...NOTHING.
I hope before I die, I can see ONE PERSON GET FINED out there for being in the zone, for not listening to the volunteers who work so hard..PROTECTING THESE CREATURES. Will that day come???
