1-9-2013 DB's Dailies: Aukai,Nani&Buster@RI, Kaiwi@LL, Kermit,Makaiwi,M&M@WP, Kerby@Maili Pt, 2aw@Elec.Bch, Rocky@IRQ

At 0842, I thought I saw a likely looking rock in a cave frequented by Aukai at the back of Rocky Right Beach, on Rabbit Island. It would be 1158 when I finally confirmed the Aukai (RL12) ID, from the Makapuu Overview. She would move out into the open in the afternoon.

At 1220 Gayle called with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) at her Lanai Lookout hideout.

At 1238 Nani (RK60) hauled out 80 ft left of 1BS on RI. She would move up and went immediately to snooze mode.

At 1342 Buster (RV08) hauled out and galumphed up to join Nani. There was only minimal interaction, and then they both returned to snooze mode.

Team Billand checked in at 0625 with the report of Kermit (R012) and Makaiwi (R4DF) together fronting #1708, White Plains. Kermit would depart at 1830.

At 1336 the Billands found Kerby (RW08) at Maili Point.

At 1356 they reported a molting 2AW at Electric Beach.

At 1432 Team Billand found Rocky (RH58) at Iroquois Point.

On the Billands 1519 WP recheck they found that M&M (R020) had hauled out to the far west end of the WP beach.
