10/10/10 DB Dailies

The Rabbit Island cast for today began at 0649 when I found Sadie and Kolohe together up in the grass behind Seal Rock Inlet at the right end of the beach. They would later move down to cool off, and remained there the rest of the day. There was minimal interaction.

When I got to Makai Pier at 0655 I found Duke just hauling out, left of 1BS at the left end. He would remain there all day. His D#13 molt is 95%.

At 1041, Sam hauled out at the far left end of the beach. He would remain there the rest of the day.

Team Billand reported Irma at White Plains at 0738.

Afternoon email with photos, from Karen Turner confirmed that Lona was at Fisherman's Point at Turtle Bay, and R5AY was at Kuilima Cove, the hotel beach at Turtle Bay. Her D#2 molt is approximately 5%. There were no Ua Malie sightings today.

Dera checked in this morning at 0825 to advise of the Turtle Bay animals, and also to report that "the boyfriend" had once again reported an animal near Malaekahana. Previous reports had been confirmed as Right Spot, so I'm putting my dollar on her.

Especially for Donna, and the rest of the curious "Aunties", we here at the Monk Seal CIA have been working diligently to get da' scoops on "the boyfriend". My highly placed source tells me that his name is Larz, and that he is said to be a Viking, but in fact he doesn't even know Brett Favre, and is actually from Oregon, which makes him closer to a Duck or a Beaver. Anything for da' Aunties !! Well thank you agent DB.... but this blog lady is still in a fog.  Is it safe to assume "the boyfriend" is attached to Dera?  or 5AY? (sorry couldn't resist)
