Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:15 to 2:25 pm and there were three seals seen on island today.

Weaner PO3 was alone on the beach near 3BS. Marilyn did not see him go into the water today. His male belly was visible. Also he appeared to play with something on the beach several times.

RF34 Pua and her female pup PO4 were initially on the waterfront rocks near the beach at Middle Cliff.  Marilyn viewed on extended nursing session. At about 1:45 pm, PO4 headed for the water and a

short time later Pua followed. They moved in the Makapuu direction and when Pua and PO4 passed by there PO3 was on the beach, Pua stopped to check the weaner and then turned and followed after PO4. Marilyn lost sight of them soon after that and did not see them again.

Here's some seal trivia: Assuming MO3 was Sadie RB12. Sadie is Pua's mom, so PO3 is Pua's half-brother and PO4's Uncle..... and PO4 is Sadie's grand-daughter!

Team R&B only had one seal today. They found RL20 Kalua at Kahe. He was alone resting on the rocks in an empty pond. He is looking quite green.
