October 14, 2019 Monk Seal Dailies

Today's dailies are brought to you by Lesley, and our seal pal Val with news from Kauai. Lesley's update is part 2 of the dailies.  Also as a note, Team Billand is taking a well deserved break.  I totally understand and support the time they need, and look forward to their return.

Our pal Val had a seven seal day, what could be better than that?
What is especially sweet about this, Val found three of their six weaners. RL52, RL38 and RL58, all looking healthy.
R353 ist still there hanging out with RN44.
RF28 (Pohaku's 2014 pup) was found looking a bit green.

Also today Val spotted for the first time R8HE who has been seen on Kauai and Oahu. She has some ugly mobbing wounds on her back, and may be molting sometime in the near future.

As always thank you Val for sharing and keeping our readers up on who's who on Kauai.
