October 23, 2019 Monk Seal Dailies

Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand, posse pal Vicki, and Anissa.

In yesterday's news Vicki headed up to the north shore. She came across the beautiful Sadie RB12, she is looking healthy and quite beautiful. It's really nice to have Sadie hanging out in places where we can actually see her, since in the past she was mostly seen only from Rabbit Island.

Vicki went further north and came across another critter who she believes to be Squinty R303. He is looking healthy and happy and was on his own today.

Posse Pal Anissa K went up to the north shore today and she was lucky enough to come across Sadie still looking beautiful and resting alone.
Anissa also sent a couple of photos from MCBH. The photos were fowarded to her, so she did have much information. From the photos it's hard to see if there were tags, and the light color muzzle makes me think the seal is on the younger side. Anyone have any ideas who this U/U might be?

Team Billand didn't make it out early morning but they did head out late in the day to a west side location. They spotted four critters on the rocks, RH36 Kawena was with Kekoa Alii RK72 to the left mid rocks.
To the right of them was RN14 Kalani and RG28 Lefty.
Team Billand waited to see what was going to happen with any of them and it looked like Kawena was getting ready to leave. She was being very careful to move on, and not to alert the three dudes there. She took her time, dived into the shallow pond, and stayed there alone.
Kekoa followed her, dived into the same shallow pond, but just stayed there barking at the other two males now and then.
Kalani moved up on his rocks, and RG28 stretched and just flipped over to keep his eye on things.

Another member of Team Billand Olivia's Dad sent a couple of photos to them of a critter at plains. They were able to ID the lovely miss Pohaku R028.
