On my first look at Rabbit Island, at 0710 I found what would turn out to be RG32 up in the grass, 60 ft right of 3BS. He would later move down allowing the ID.

At 0950 Kolohe (RW22),Kea(RN46)&Kainoa(RN04) hauled out to the water front rocks fronting RG32. He move down to join them and all four returned to the water for a play session, fronting the entry point. Kolohe would haul out at 0959, leaving the play to the whippersnappers. The other 3 would haul out to join Kolohe at 1118.

Melanie called at 1100 to advise that she had Kaiwi (RK96) & an animal that would turn out to be Buster (RV08) together on the shelf at China Walls. Kaiwi looks to be a tad bigger than Buster now. Thank you Melanie !!!

A text from the Billands at 0539 advised that KoOlina Security had called to report that Nihoa (R912) had overnighted at Lagoon#2. Mahalos to Warren & Kathy.

At 0820 Team Billand reported Kekoa (RK72) at Maili Point.

The Billands called at 1007 to advised that White Plains lifeguards had reported at swimming head off shore of the beach. That was followed at 1010 with the report that the animal had hauled out fronting the Snack Bar. The Billands confirmed the Benny (RE74) ID at 1100. NOAA personnel arrived at 1127 and Benny was vaccinated. He is also now sporting a new double girdle. Mahalos to Bev .

The NOAA gang also went to Maili Point afterward and vaccinated Kekoa (RK72).

At 1539 Team Billand found Pohaku (RO28) foraging off shore of Campbell Industrial Park.

In the Yesterday’s News department, shots received from Jon Gelman show BG (R303) and Holokai (RG40) at separate locations, Turtle Bay yesterday. Thank you Jon.
