7/7/2015 DB's Dailies: Cass&Duke@RI, Benny@PC, Pohaku&Temp319@Makaha, Kimo Kai@GR, Nihoa@Mailiili Canal, Ua Malie&PO3@TB

At 0710 I found Duke (RA12) snoozin’ in the Morning Glory at the 3BS on Rabbit Island.

On my 2nd look at 0902 I found Cass (RG06) just hauling out to the left end rock flats on RI. Unfortunately , she would galumph to the back of the beach and spend the day out of my line of sight at the base of the cliff. On two occasions through the day I lucked out and glimpsed hind flipper flexes about the rocks, so I knew she was still there.

Both Gayle and I combed the quadrant and found nobody else.

At 0624 Team Billand advised they’d received a call from Nancy, reporting Benny (RE74) at Paradise Cove.

At 0753 the Billands got a call about 2 animals at the Hawaiian Princess Condos. At 0859 they confirmed that Pohaku RO28 has returned from Kauai, and was one of the animals. The other would turn out to be a Kauai male, Tracy called Temp 319. He was given a V9 bleach on his back. He also sports numerous CC scars. Debbie advised that both had departed at 1515.

At 1158 the Billands found Kimo Kai (RT12) at Maili Guard Rails.

At 1242 they found Nihoa , once again foraging in Mailiili Canal.

Karen Turner put in a day with Ua Malie & PO3, and sent today’s pup fix.

Val Bloy checked in with word that Pohaku’s newly weaned son got his bling today. PK3 is now RG28/29.

Pohaku's weaned boy now tagged as RG28/29
Ua Malie and PO3  still growing and to think in a few weeks will be huge like the other weaners
Ua Malie - I'm no expert but looks like side of her face is swollen...
if you blow up this picture the kids eye's are watching mom's flipper, as if to say... oh no here's that flipper slap again
Benny at paradise cove
 Kimo Kai at guard rails
Miss Nihoa at Mailili Canal  - What the heck is going on with this girl! Stay out of the canals already!
yes you stay away from the canal
Pohaku back on Oahu after only days after weaning her pup... looks like she brought a little friend with her Temp 319
Meet Temp 319 visiting us from Kauai...
