At 0703 I found what would prove to be Kainoa (RN04), and an U/U left of 1BS, on Rabbit Island. Kainoa was already down near the water line. The Unknown moved down and immediately entered the water, so I was never able to get any info except to say that it was adult sized. I’d have to put a dollar (can’t risk a cat) on a probable Sadie but ?????On a routine pan at 1155 I found a likely lookin’ rock, at the water line, 80 ft right of 1BS. The rock finally moved, and it proved to be Cass (RG06).
At 1116 the Billands called to advise that volunteer Jean had reported Nihoa (R912) & R319 together at Paradise Cove. Thanks to Jean for the shots.A SamTxt at 0730 reported Ka’ena (RO40) a Ka’ena Point, and later Squinty 9R3300. A later call ate 1201, from Lesley M., further reported that Luana (RN58) was at Hidden Beach, and at the point were Ka’ena & Squinty (R330). Lesley would also provide a shot from last year, of R330, showing the ventral scar that Marilyn had noted on her U/M yesterday. Mystery Solved !! Squinty was yesterday’s U/M .
DanaMail at 1334 reported Ua Malie&PO3, La’akea (RK82), and Ola (RG03) at Turtle Bay today.
In the Yesterday’s News department, Diane T., sent shots from her evening session, yesterday, with Ua&PO3 at the birth beach, and La’akea (RK82) at Right Spot’s Spot, TB.
