At 1252 what would prove to be Duke showed up as a “swimming head” , cruising the beach front from Seal Rock Inlet to the left end rock flats and then back again, checking spots along the way. At 1326 on a routine pan I found first Duke and then Kea (RN46) right behind, just hauling out at Seal Rock Inlet. They would remain there the rest of the day.

The highlight of the day for me came at 0809 when Marilyn called , advising that Ken Tingman had contacted her with his End of the World report. He found Squinty (R330), RW02, RIP (RR70), and Kaiwi (RK96) at Kaena Point. Kaiwi had been reported at KP on 6-20-15, but then nothing since then. Obviously, she is still at the End of the World. Thank You Ken !!! Ya’ Done Good !!!
The KP story got even better with the arrival of email from Tammy T., who had seen Kaiwi, RW02, and U’ilani whom Ken had not seen earlier.
At 1145 Team Billand checked in with the report of Nihoa (R912) at Lagoon#2, KoOlina. They advised of her departure at 1613.
LesleyMail brought news of Luana (RN58) fronting the Lyman Estate, Mokuleia.
An evening text from Diane G., advised that despite a concert and tons of people today, Ua Malie&PO3 were handling well.
