When I made it down to the beach, I saw 2 wallows here in front and 2 wallows @ BBTables (one of a turtle). Unfortunately, all of them had the same footsteps right up to the wallows. It must have happened during the wee hours at high tide, cause by the time I was there it was low tide and he trails were partially washed. Needless to say, my blood was boiling.
Shortly after RG28 Lefty hauled out @ Lyman's West.
At Hidden Beach RW02 PVKauai was freshly hauled out. On my next check he was going up and down the waterline and swimming around the little bay. At sat on the sand and watched his unusual behavior for a while, it was as if he was waiting for another seal or searching for one. He is a very vocal seal but today he was quiet.
The NARS had little rivers and mini waterfalls, I had to get back, so I left my spot under rain.
The road was a slipping sliding game.
At 10 Mns Beach the Trio was still there but had changed places.
Back @ Lyman's Lefty was at Luana's Tide Pool (still covered in sand). I checked BB/Tables and from the corner of my eye I saw a little piece of grey... PO4 Kai was cuddled up among some rocks.
Covered in mud, I had to hose off before going into a shower.
We have been enjoying watching the comet every night since last Friday. What a treat ! More tomorrow
