07/23/2020 Thursday Act-With-Care Monk Seal Dailies

Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand and Lesley.  Lesley's Ka'ena update is part two of the dailies.

Team Billand started their day early but it wasn't until 9 am when they finally found one critter already up on water front rocks. They were able to ID RL20 Kalua snoozing, still hooked and looking oh so green.

Between 9 to 11:30 they observed an animal foraging doing 7 minute dives. They notice a cookie scar on lower left side, a ding on right shoulder, line scare on right side of face. They thought possibly R3CU who hasn't been seen in a while, but could not say so it was reported as an U/U.


At 1:30 Team Billand found both RL42 Leia and RN14 Kalani on the rocks snoozing. RN14 turned and galumphed closer to RL42 while the waves gently washed over them.

Lastly at 2:00 they found RF28 on shore with folks all around, but thankfully leaving him alone.  He was ID'd by his natural bleach on left should and his old hooking scar on lip.
