It was yet another bumper crop day at Rabbit Island. When I arrived at Makai Pier at 0800 I found Kolohe (RW22) in the grass, 70 ft right of 3BS, and RIP (RR70), also in the grass, a bit to the right, about 30 ft or so. I would not know until RIP moved down later that the small J/M Unknown was tucked in behind him.At 1008 there were 3 new arrivals in the shorebreak fronting Kolohe’s location. He would galumph down to meet them. They would prove to be Mojo (RI17, Kekoa(RK72) & Kainoa (RN04), It was a meeting of the Boyz Club again today. There was a lot of play interaction, with no aggression at all.
On a pan at 1051 I was shocked to see a 70% molted animal just hauling out to 1BS. It would turn out to be a female with 2 red tags. I could not get an IDAgain on a pan at 1405 I found Kawena at Right Middle Cliff. She may well have been there all along, but hidden behind something. She was dry when I noticed her.
Anissa found Right Spot (R016) once again at MCBH. Her molt continues.
At 0640 Team Billand reported Benny (RE74) at Secrets. They would report his departure at 0745.
At 1223 they found Pohaku (RO28) at Secrets.
At 1249 the Billands found RK36 at Maili Point.
Barbara did the Ka’ena Pt trek again today. At 1415 she found an animal just before the west side KP gate. Awaiting ID At the point she reported a male in the main pool. Based on a hind flipper bleach it appears to be Squinty (R330).
A text from posse member Vikki Hangai , at 1614 reported Holokai (RG40), just hauling out to the Keiki Pool, Turtle Bay, and on her way home stopped to spend quality time with R5AY in Hauula.

OOps, two more animals were found...BG and Squinty. It took me a while to make the id, but I got em.
