It was once again less than ideal viewing conditions for Rabbit Island, but light years ahead of what its been the last few days. I found what would later prove to be Kolohe (RW22) snoozin’ in the tall grass behind Seal Rock Inlet. He would later move down allowing the ID. He is 100% molted. It would be 1102 before I chanced to see an movement behind Kolohe. It was an animal that had been totally invisible to be until then. It would be an additional hour before I finally got a look at the animal. It was the same-o, same-o unknown , juvenile male.
Team Billand checked in at 0618 with the report of the Benny (RE74) , once again at Secrets, KoOlina.

Afternoon email from Carola brought shots of her day with BG (R303), once again at Mokuleia. Thank you Carola !
On a daily check of Instagram, I found a Kaiwi (RK96) shot from yesterday at Makalei Beach Park
