2/4/2015 DB;s Dailies: Kaiwi,Aukai,RM38&U/M@RI, Rocky@KK, Pohaku@PC, Haupu@NIM,

On my first look at Rabbit Island at 0738 I found what would prove to be Kaiwi (RK96) and Aukai (RL12) together once again at the log, 40 ft left of 1BS. When I got back at 1015 both had moved down to the water line at the left end of the beach. They would go for a swim, Aukai hauling out to Rocky Right Beach, and Kaiwi to Seal Rock Inlet.

 Posse member Linda N., called at 1151 with the report of Rocky at Kokee Flats. Melanie called at 1154 to confirm that it was Rocky (RH58), and got photos. Thank you Linda for the call, and Melanie for just being your routine, awesome self. Melanie, Gayle & myself did multiple checks of the SE quadrant with no other finds, and no Kea.

At 1354 what would prove to be RM38 hauled out to Seal Rock Inlet, near Kaiwi, but there was no interaction.

 At 1440 what would end up being an U/M hauled out to join Kaiwi. He dogged her 50 ft left, as she tried to get away. Ultimately , they would enter the water at 1514, and haul out again to mid Middle Cliff, where the male continued his dogged pursuit. He finally gave up and departed at 1600, as did I. 

Team Billand checked in at 0700 with the report of Pohaku (RO28) at Paradise Cove.

At 1246 they found Haupu (RB24), at Nimitz Jetty.
