2/11/2015 DB's Dailies: Kea&UU@BH, Kainoa,Duke&U/F@RI, Rocky@TBL, KC@Moku Nui, Pohaku@Nanakuli, Haupu@Maili, Kolohe@Maili Pt, RI37@Hauula

At 0833 I became aware of Kea (RN46) and another U/U animal playing and foraging fronting the Blowhole Lookout. Kea hauled out to the cove on the Sandy Beach side at 0908. The U/U departed . 

At 1109 when I arrived at Makai Pier I found an U/F, with 2 red tags, near the water line at the left end of Rabbit Island. She was partially hidden behind rocks, and only became more so. At 1200 she departed.

 Also at 1109 I found Kainoa (RN04) fronting 3BS on RI.

 At 1131 what would prove to be Duke (RA12) hauled out to join Kainoa. After interaction, and a snooze, both entered the water at 1301.

At 1348 to my complete surprise I found Rocky (RH58) snoozin’ at Toilet Bowl, Hanauma Bay. 

Amarisa Marie (DOFAW) & her crew were working on Moku Nui today. She called at 0912 to advise of an animal there. She sent confirmation photos of KC (RK28) . Thank You Ama !!!

Team Billand checked in at 1038 with the report of Pohaku (RO28) at Nanakai Beach today. She would depart at 1612. 

At 1151 they found Haupu (RB24), once again at Maipalaoa Beach, Maili.

Dana called at 1350 with the report of RI37 across from the Fire Station, Hauula.

 At 1420 Team Billand found Kolohe (RW22) at Maili Point.
