2-12-2014 Lesley's Ka'ena Point Check In

It was a beautiful day to do Ka'ena Pt, if not for a bad cold that's nearly knocking me down now.

Albatrosses were everywhere and even the "big brown" one was around, whales & dolphins splashing in all directions and 3 seals doing their seal thing.

The tide was very low, Ka'ena's pool was inaccessible so RO40 "Ka'ena" and RW08 "Kerby" were sleeping peacefully on the Runway.

At the point I found RW02 "Kauai PV" tucked in a niche at the entrance of the Main Pool.

The little girls RL42 and RN58 "Luana" were no were to be found despite lots of looking for them

I spoke to Becky that was doing a double shift @ TBR - she had the visit of the SOLEMATES today on their hike from Kahuku to Kawela.  I'm looking forward to joining them again for the Wednesdays hikes.
 Aloha, Lesley
