Marilyn got word there was an Unknown Sub-adult Male hauled out on the east side. Fortunately Mark from NOAA was able to apply a N25 bleach. He is small sub-adult size, light tan belly, no tags, partial C scar on LFF, star shaped scar at the rear base on LFF, short line scar on the right side of his head.  Marilyn wasn't sure if there were two applied bleaches, she did see one N25 underlines on his mid dorsal.

Marilyn did check Rabbit Island but there were no seals seen between 1 to 2 pm.

Team R&B first find today was at the bay. They were happy to find Miss Kala RH76. She was at the front on edge of rocks resting.  Miss Kala is looking quite plump!

At another west side location they found a seal they believe is one of the seals they spotted the other day. He is a tough seal to get an ID, if

the right side of his face isn't visible. But today the scar on the right side was visible so they knew they were looking at R617 Kimo.  They noted he had a healthy poop while watching over him.

Next stop they were watching over the water and saw a seal moving really slow, like it was so full it could barely move. When they got closer they ID'd RM31 Kai nice and chubby hauling up. Then Team R&B saw another seal, same behavior moving slow, foraging, but didn't land. They were able to ID RH32 Kaale.  Suddenly there was

lots of action in the water, they thought it might be a shark, but it was another seal.  The two seals were arguing in the water. RL20 Kalua came in as RH32 was there and that's when the trouble began. They had it out resulting in RH32 Kaale leaving, not to be seen again.

Lastly they made the drive to Nimitz and found the two boys. There

was RN14 Kalani and R407 Kawika on the reef snoozing.

As a side note: They did see the two of them yesterday, but the email was delayed so I am including the photos from yesterday as well.
