09/14/2020 Monday Monk Seal Dailies

Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand and Team T&D.

Team T&D hiked Ka'ena point. They started out finding RG28 Lefty and RG40 Holokai and they turned the corner and found two more seals. They turned out to be RN58 Luana and R330 Squinty were at birth beach.

Their next find was RO40 Ka'ena on the runway who later hauled out on reef island main pool.  He was enjoying the peace and quiet.  Their last find of the day was RL74 Kami on back beach. Her first molt/shed is moving along. Can't wait to see the final results.

Team Billand found Kekoa Alii RK72 on lower rocks alone and snoozing. His broken tag and facial

scratches help ID him.

Next was RL70 Leina was in her usual spot on high mid rocks. She is very good at hiding, so they got a quick peek at her.

R3CX Nalu was alone on shore at a popular beach. No one bothered him while Team Billand was observing. His tag was visible and his nice new coat.

Kawena RH36 was to the left rocks, snoozing. She must have been there for a bit since she was very dry. Her tags and scar on bottom left of her face were visible not to mention her nice new coat.

Ka'ale RH32 was to the right on the rocks also very dry. His tag was visible long enough for an ID. He is very green, can't wait to see him when he's all cleaned up.

Last but not least in the afternoon Team Billand found RL20 Kalua, Kekoa was gone. There on the inland rocks was little RL20. His molt has progressed to 75% and he's looking good. Very different than the little green goblin look.  He was very cooperative by rolling over showing off his belly and tag. The line from the hook was visible.
