They found RW02 PvKauai at Nanakai snoozing alone to the right of the walls. Volunteer was on site. Team Billand also found RK36 Kauai Kolohe resting to the left side of the beach high up on the shore. He would was still there on their last check.
Team Billands' next stop in Maili where they found Kekoa Alii RK72 and RW22 Kolohe. Both boys were on the rocks, but the waves got huge. In the end both seals got washed off the rocks, and went their different ways. Kekoa stayed on the rocks and Kolohe moved in and hid by the rocks. On their last check only Kolohe was there snoozing. Waves were still big swishing around him, he didn't seem to mind. Kekoa was gone.
Both Posse Pals Vicki and Gayle sent photos of Rabbit Island from different times of the day. Gayle reported 2 critters. Vicki, well, she reported pretty much like I would and I quote " 1 seal 2 rocks? 2 seals 1 rock? 3 seals no rocks? just 2 seals?" I had myself a good laugh, because I honestly have to agree !
