9/21/2017 Monk Seal Dailies: Pohaku RO28, RIP RR70, Buster V08, RG40 Holokai & RJ16

Today's Dailies are brought to you by Team Billand, Gayle, and Vicki.  I also received a great picture of RJ16 and Holokai from RJ S

Team Billand found Pohaku early morning at Secrets. She was there for about 3 hours, while Team Billand educated and kept a watchful eye.  Hotline was called at 6:13 am.  Pohaku headed for the water once the property workers had their machinery going.

At 9:54 am Team Billand arrived at Paradise Cove and sure enough Pohaku came into the lagoon. At this time there are already tourist on site, Team Billand did their best to clear the way for Pohaku to haul out. Thankfully the lifeguard came by and placed the last two signs.  Team Billand called hotline to inform of Pohaku's new location and the large group of tourist.  Team Billand departed at 10:40 am after a volunteer Veronica arrived.

Team Billand's next and last find for the day was RIP RR70. He was at Maili coming out of the water hole, resting with crabs crawling on his shoulders and back.

Gayle sent news of Buster at Sandy's today. She and several beach goers kept watch over him today, she left him at 19:00.  Gayle also spotted one critter on Rabbit Island but no quality photo.

Vicki sent photos of RJ16  and Holokai were together at the keiki pool.  Seems there were a lot of folks capturing the two of them today. I saw some photos on facebook.  Also got an email from RJ Strayhorn with  a picture of the two showing some brotherly love.
